Kaspersky Security Bulletin has been published. It's a review prepared by Kaspersky Lab that sums up Russian's company's work in 2017 and the main cybersecurity tendencies of the year. Here're some of the highlights of the report. On average, Kaspersky Lab security solutions discovered around 360 thousand malicious files daily throughout the year. This is 11.5% more than in a previous year and five times more than in 2011.
Kaspersky Lab security software stopped almost 1.2 billion cyberattacks from network resources all over the world. Russian company's anti-viruses identified around 200 million URL addresses as malicious. Altogether in a year Kaspersky Lab specialists discovered 15,714,700 unique malicious objects. In addition, the review reads that 939,722 computers of unique users suffered a ransomware attack throughout the year. Kaspersky Lab security software blocked attempts to launch malware that steals money during online banking operations on 1,126,701 devices.
